The IKD Coupe Canada Cup was held May 19-21 in Moncton, NB. The event saw Team NB capture the most Gold Medal with over 50 being presented. This earned New Brunswick the right to hoist the Canada Cup. Congratulations to all those that competed. It takes courage and dedication to represent your dojo, your province and yourself, winning or losing doesn’t matter.

The Maritime IKD Team Vests are available for members of the Maritime IKD.

The Maritime IKD hosted the Spring Clinic for 2023 this weekend with over 90 students testing for their next belt rank.

Special Congratulations to new Black Belts; Shodan: Brian Page, Sophie Cormier, Audrey Richard, Nidan: Lance Kaplan and Sandan: Angela LeBlanc. Welcome to the club.
Shihan Maureen Woon-A-Tai, 9th Dan will visit the Maritime IKD on Dec 1-3 to conduct a clinic and grading. This event will take place at NBCC, Moncton.
The Maritime IKD will host a Pre-Nationals Tournament on April 22. This event will be to help prepare the competitors, officials and volunteers for the upcoming IKD Canada Cup.
Much like the Canada Cup, this event will be for Blue belts to Black belts.
The Maritime IKD will hold the 2023 Spring Clinic on March 24-25 at NBCC in Moncton, NB.
The clinic will be conducted by Shihan David Pyke, 8th Dan.

Sackville Shotokan Karate has been inactive for several months due to not having a location to train. Now the club is preparing to make a return. The new location will be at the Sackville Curling Club. Class dates and times are still to be determined but stay tuned for an announcement very soon.
The Maritime IKD will hold a Fall Clinic on Dec 9 and 10 in Riverview, NB. Maritime IKD Director, Shihan David Pyke, 8th Dan, will oversee the grading.
