Samuel Thériault started his karate training at Le Sommet with Sensei Michel Gaudet in September 2014 at the age of 6.

He decided to follow in his Dad’s footsteps and try karate himself after seeing his Dad’s karate belts of his younger age and talking with him. It’s a decision that he is really proud that he made.

On November 29th 2014, he received his yellow belt from Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai.

He continued his training at St Pat’s with Sensei Michel Gaudet, Sensei Isabelle Bordage, Sensei Craig O’Neill ans Sensei Tony Fahey.

Samuel joined Karate NB this year and is looking forward to participate in many upcoming events.

Samuel is a grade 4 student at Ecole Le Sommet in Moncton.

Besides karate, he enjoys soccer, golf, tennis, hiking and kayaking.

Samuel now being a 3rd Kyu, he will continue his training at both Le Sommet and St Pat’s to achieve his goal of getting his black belt.
