About the Maritime IKD
The Maritime International Karate Daigaku is devoted to the growth of Shotokan Karate in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Maritime IKD is a former member of the International Shotokan Karate Federation but is now associated with the International Karate Daigaku. The organization is lead by Shihan David Pyke, 8th Dan, a member of the IKD Shihan-Kai Senate and Shihan Janice Pyke, 7th Dan, a members of the IKD Shihan-Kai.
The organization has dojos in Amherst, Nova Scotia; Moncton and Sackville, New Brunswick and Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
The headquarters of the Maritime IKD is located in Amherst, Nova Scotia at the Amherst Shotokan Karate Academy.
