The Amherst Shotokan Karate Academy announced that is would be closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now all Maritime IKD dojos are closed until further notice. The Maritime IKD Tournament has also been postponed.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation affecting training locations, venues and the health and safety of our students, we are postponing the Tournament. Once the situation improves, we will reassess and re-schedule.
The Amherst Shotokan Karate Academy will take part in the Amherst Winter Carnival again this year. On Saturday, February 15, there will be an Introduction to Shotokan Karate and Self Defence held from 10am-11:30am at 100 Spring Street, Amherst.
